This rack is the most durable, versatile rack I have found. I had used many different racks before purchasing this one and none compare. I needed a new rack that would fit my bike (full suspension), and after shopping around I ordered this one. The rack is mainly used on my sport utility, but I ordered an adapter that steps down the receiver size so that it can be used on my car with a 1-1/4" hitch. I have not had problems with the rack swaying due to the straps provided. The rack is very impressive- I have been stopped by many people asking where to get it etc. Bottom line: if you need a rack to fit non-conventional bikes, look no further. Besides, why put your $2000 ride on a chinsy rack?
