Glad you decided.  I, too have been swaying towards a TT- tour.  I like the price of the Sun tadpole  ez-3 but,  I keep getting the feeling that  the TT may be of better, long lasting quality.   I just can't find ANYONE who has had any experience with a  the Sun tadpole.   Anyway,  hope your streets clear up soon and happy riding.  Dorothy

Thanks, Dorothy.  Good luck with your choice.  I don't have any direct experience with the Sun tadpoles, but based on my testing a Sun X3 delta, and from what I've read, I would agree that you're better off going with a TerraTrike.  I was lucky enough to be able to borrow an old model (3.2?) TerraTrike for a few months last summer, and that's what got me hooked on this in the first place!

Not from me.  I use Power Grips pedals and straps, and any old shoes I like.  I'm quite happy with them.

Totolostnoz (Dorothy), congratulations on your new TT.  My wife and I bought Cruisers in 2006 and have never regretted the choice.  The engineering is first-rate and the workmanship leaves nothing to be desired.  We've each got upwards of 5,000 miles on them now with nary a hiccup on the road.

The other nice thing about them is that they readily accept component upgrades, so although the frame still says "Cruiser," they don't look like the stock Cruisers out there on the road: thinner tires, Shimano clipless pedals, slightly altered drive trains, bar end shifters, etc.

This past Saturday was our season-opening club ride.  We did 22 miles in the rolling Maryland hills northwest of Newark, Delaware.  We took 3 hours to do it (rest stop included) because of the long upgrades in grandma gear.  But it was a ball!  We burned up 1200 calories apiece and got totally pumped for the season ahead.

All the best,

Larry
